SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 2 - Anne Arundel County
[5-201.
The judges of the circuit court, in their discretion, may
appoint intermediate terms, between the common law terms, for the
transaction of equity business, and any other business not
requiring a jury, to which process shall be returnable.]
[5-202.
The county council may authorize the payment to each of the
judges of the circuit court for the Fifth Judicial Circuit who
reside in Anne Arundel County and who are not judges of the court
of appeals, a sum not to exceed three thousand dollars annually
in addition to the salary received by such judges from the State,
such payments to be made in a like manner as the salaries of
other county personnel.]
[5-203.
The judges of the circuit court for the county are
authorized to appointed a court stenographer and typist and an
assistant court stenographer and typist for the court, to serve
for such time as may be designated by the court, and each of them
