QUESTIONS SUBMITTED BY THE UNIFORM ELECTRICAL LICENSING
EXAMINATION COMMITTEE.
C. QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANTS. (1) AN APPLICANT FOR
EXAMINATION FOR A MASTER LICENSE SHALL HAVE BEEN REGULARLY AND
PRINCIPALLY EMPLOYED OR ENGAGED IN ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION,
MAINTENANCE, INSTALLATION, AND REPAIR OF ALL TYPES OF ELECTRICAL
EQUIPMENT AND APPARATUS FOR NOT LESS THAN 7 YEARS PRECEDING THE
DATE OF APPLICATION, UNDER THE DIRECTION AND SUPERVISION OF 2 A
MASTER ELECTRICIANS ELECTRICIAN, 3 YEARS DURING WHICH THE
APPLICANT SUPERVISED OR WAS ACTIVELY IN CHARGE OF ELECTRICAL
INSTALLATION WORK.
(2) THE BOARD MAY CREDIT NOT MORE THAN 3 YEARS FOR
FORMAL COURSE STUDY OR PROFESSIONAL TRAINING IN ELECTRICAL
INSTALLATION, IF, IN THE OPINION OF THE BOARD, THE STUDY OR
TRAINING PROVIDED COMPARABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING OTHERWISE
ATTAINABLE UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A MASTER ELECTRICIAN OR WHILE
EMPLOYED BY A GOVERNMENT AGENCY.
(3) NO LICENSE SHALL BE GRANTED TO ANY PERSON UNDER
THE AGE OF 21 YEARS.
[C.] D. Appeals; bond. (1) Any person whose application
for a license shall have been rejected by [said] THE Board shall
have the right to appeal to a Board of Arbitration, which shall
consist of [one (1)] 1 person selected by the person making the
appeal, [one (1)] 1 person selected by the Board herein created
and these [two (2)] 2 to select a third person.
(2) The decision of [said] THE Board of Arbitration,
or a majority of them, shall be final and binding upon all the
parties to [said] THE appeal.
(3) The members of [said] THE Board shall be paid the
sum of [ten dollars ($10.)] $10 each, which sum shall be
deposited with the Board herein created by the person taking
[said] THE appeal, and if [said] THE Board of Arbitration shall
affirm the decision of the board herein created, the money so
deposited shall be used to pay [said] THE Board; if, however,
such decision is reversed, [said] THE Board of Arbitration shall
be paid out of the funds in the hands of the Board herein
created, and [said] THE deposit of [thirty dollars ($30.)] $30
shall be returned, provided further that each applicant shall pay
to the Treasurer of [said] THE Board of Electrical Examiners the
required license fee as set by the rules, regulations and bylaws
of the Board.

report, in writing, to the Board of County Commissioners of St.
Mary's County, containing a detailed statement of the nature of
