SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Health - General

9-301.

There is a State Advisory Council on Drug Abuse in the
Administration.

9-302.

(a) (1) The State Advisory Council consists of the
following [18] 19 members:

(i) 9 individuals from the general public,
appointed by the Governor; [and]

; AND

(II) 1 STUDENT MEMBER APPOINTED BY THE GOVERNOR

[(ii)] (III) As ex officio members:

1. The Assistant Secretary for Mental
Health, Mental Retardation, Addictions, and Developmental
Disabilities.

Administration.

Industry.

Commission.

Administration.

2.  The Director of the Drug Abuse

3.  The State Superintendent of Schools.

4.  The Commissioner of Labor and

5.  The Commissioner of Correction.

6.  The Director of Parole and Probation.

7.  The Chairman of the Maryland Parole

8.  The Director of the Juvenile Services

9.  The Mayor of Baltimore City.

10. THE PRESIDENT OF THE GOVERNOR'S YOUTH
ADVISORY COUNCIL WHO SHALL BE AT LEAST 14 YEARS OF AGE OR WHO
SHALL DESIGNATE A REPRESENTATIVE AT LEAST 14 YEARS OF AGE.
