(2)  ASSIGN STREET OR ROAD ADDRESS NUMBERS TO
STRUCTURES OR OTHER PROPERTY ALONG COUNTY ROADS OR STREETS;   AND

(3)  ADOPT ORDINANCES OR REGULATIONS CONCERNING THE
NAMES OF STREETS AND ROADS AND NUMBERS OF STRUCTURES.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

CHAPTER 73

(House Bill 717)

AN ACT concerning

Wicomico County - Orphans' Court
Judges' Compensation

FOR the purpose of altering the salary and expense allowance for
judges of the orphans' court for Wicomico County; providing
that this Act does not affect the compensation of
incumbents; and generally relating to the compensation of
judges of the orphans' court for Wicomico County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Estates and Trusts
Section 2-108(w)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1974 Volume and 1984 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Estates and Trusts

2-108.

(w) Each [of the judges] JUDGE of the court for Wicomico
County shall receive [$20 for every day's attendance upon the
sessions of the court] AN ANNUAL SALARY OF $1,600 TO BE PAID
QUARTERLY. Each judge shall also receive an ANNUAL allowance [of
$30 for expenses for every day's attendance upon the sessions of
the court] FOR TRAVELING EXPENSES OF $1,560 TO BE PAID QUARTERLY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to
Article III, § 35, of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act may
not be construed to extend or apply to the salaries or
