HARRY HUGHES, Governor
1089
(2) AT THE MEETING, THE INDIVIDUAL MAY NOT VOTE, BUT
MAY GIVE AN OPINION ON ANY MATTER BEING CONSIDERED OR DISCUSSED.
REVISOR'S NOTE: Chapter ____, Acts of 1985, which enacted
the State Finance and Procurement Article, also
enacted this section, which is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 41, § 80.
In subsection (b) of this section, the duty to
"represent the Governor" is substituted for the former
reference to "said representative of the Executive
Department", for clarity. In some instances, the term
"Executive Department" seems to encompass the entire
Executive Branch of the State government. However, in
subsection (b) of this section, the former reference
seemed more limited.
Also in subsection (b) of this section, the former
phrase "from time to time" is deleted as surplusage.
In subsection (c) of this section, the former word
"question" is deleted as unnecessary in light of the
broad word "matter".
