(6)  The cost of the WS license is $15 per day.

(7)  The WS license shall permit the applicant to
carry wine onto the premises for wine sampling purposes with the
authorization of the owner or licensee of a Class B license.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning

St. Mary's County - Compensation of Orphans' Court Judges

FOR the purpose of altering the compensation of judges of the
Orphans' Court in St. Mary's County; and providing that this
Act does not affect incumbents.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Estates and Trusts

2-108.

(s) Each of the judges of the court for St. Mary's County
shall receive an annual salary of [$1,200] $2,400. Each judge
shall also be allowed [$500] $1,000 annually for traveling
expenses, payable quarterly.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to
Article III, § 35, of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act may
not be construed to extend or apply to the salary or compensation
of the St. Mary's County Orphans' Court Judges in office on the
effective date of this Act, but the provisions of this Act
concerning the salary or compensation of the St. Mary's County
Orphans' Court Judges shall take effect at the beginning of the
next following term of office.
