at retail, in any quantity to any consumers, at the place therein
described, and to deliver the same in a sealed package or
container, which package or container shall not be opened nor its
contents consumed on the premises where sold. The annual fee for
the license shall be $35 and shall be payable to the clerk,
before any license is issued, for distribution as hereinafter
provided.

(M-l) IN ST. MARY'S COUNTY, THE LICENSE SHALL BE DESIGNATED
A CLASS A-3 BEER AND LIGHT WINE LICENSE. THE ANNUAL FEE FOR SUCH
A LICENSE IS $250.

(n) This section does not apply to the City of Annapolis
nor to Calvert, Charles, Dorchester, Garrett, Queen Anne's, [St.
Mary's,] and Talbot counties, in all of which jurisdictions such
licenses may not be issued.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

(House Bill 528)

AN ACT concerning

Queen Anne's County - Legalizing
Code of Public Local Laws

FOR the purpose of legalizing the 1983 Edition of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Queen Anne's County, being Article 18
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, published
under the direction of the Board of County Commissioners of
Queen Anne's County; and making provision for the
publication, sale, and distribution of this Code.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the 1983 Edition of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Queen Anne's County, being Article 18 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, published under the direction of the
Board of County Commissioners of Queen Anne's County, is hereby
legalized. The Code contains all public local laws relating to
Queen Anne's County following the 1983 Regular Session of the
General Assembly of Maryland. The Code shall be deemed and taken
in all the courts of the State and by all public officials of the
State and of its several political subdivisions, to be evidence
of the public local laws of Queen Anne's County in existence at
the time of compilation.
