(iii) Name and address of the purchaser.

(d)  Except for the inventory of the initial stock on hand,
the usual commercial or other records kept by manufacturers,
wholesalers, practitioners, or pharmacists:

(1)  Meet the requirements of this section; and

(2)  Shall be kept.

(e)  On written request by the Department, any person
required by this section to keep files or records that relate to
barbiturates shall:

(1)  Make those files or records available to the
Department for inspection and copying; and

(2)  Give the Department an opportunity to check the
correctness of the files or records, including an opportunity to
inventory all barbiturates on hand.]

[4-1107.

(a)  Except as provided in § 4-1105(b) of this subtitle, a
person may not deliver a barbiturate unless the barbiturate:

(1)   Is delivered by a pharmacist on a prescription;
and

(2)   Is in a container that bears a label that
includes the following:

(i) The name and address of the owner of the
establishment from which the barbiturate was delivered.

(ii) The date on which the prescription for the
barbiturate was filled.

(iii) The number of the prescription as filed
in the prescription files of the pharmacist.

(iv) The name of the practitioner who
prescribed the barbiturate.

(v) The name and address of the patient, if
contained in the prescription, and, if the barbiturate was
prescribed for an animal, the species of the animal.

(vi) The directions for the use of the
barbiturate as contained in the prescription.

(b)  A person may not refill any prescription for a
barbiturate except in accordance with the original prescription
or by oral authorization by the practitioner, which immediately
shall be put in to writing and filed by the pharmacist.
