AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Article II, title "Rental

Assistance" of Chapter 41A, title "Rent Supplement and Assistance
Program" of the Montgomery County Code 1972, as amended, to
transfer administration of the Handicapped Rental Assistance
Program from the Montgomery County Housing Opportunities
Commission to the Montgomery County Government, to provide that
recipient income eligibility criteria be established by Executive
Regulation and to provide for an appeal process.

Effective June 17, 1983.

AN ACT to amend Chapter 20, titled, "Finance", subtitle
"Article III. Borrowing of Money Generally", of the Montgomery
County Code 1972, as amended to add a new Section 20-13A, titled,
"Montgomery County Commercial Paper", to provide that the County
Executive shall have the authority on behalf of the County to
issue and sell negotiable, unsecured, promissory notes in the
form of commercial paper for the County.

Effective September 24, 1983.
