lease for the rental of a dwelling unit located in a condominium
or cooperative housing structure to be effective to the extent
that it contradicts the provisions of Chapter 29; Section 29-28A,
title "Eviction—Removal, Transportation and Storage of Evicted
Tenants' Chattels" to delete subsection (e); Section 29-30 title
"Obligations of Landlords" to exempt any dwelling unit located in
a condominium or cooperative housing structure from certain
subsections and under certain circumstances to limit a landlord's
responsibility to provide certain services; Section 29-30A, title
"Landlord Notice Requirements" to require any landlord renting a
dwelling unit located in a condominium or cooperative housing
structure to provided certain information to the lessee; Section
29-30D, title "Reduction in Service or Equipment" to further
define the circumstances under which a tenant may file a
complaint alleging a reduction in services; and Section 29-51,
title "Rental Housing Data Collection" to require' that the
council of unit owners or board of directors provide certain
information to the office of Landlord-Tenant Affairs; and to make
certain technical changes.

AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Article V, title "Rabies Control"
of Chapter 5, title "Animal Control" of the Montgomery County
Code 1972, as amended, for the purpose of requiring dogs and cats
to be vaccinated against rabies; to provide that scratches of
animals suspected of rabies be reported; to provide that certain
animals be confined; to provide that certain fees be established
by executive regulations; to provide that civil penalties may be
imposed; to prohibit the sale of certain unvaccinated dogs and
cats; and to require a deposit to ensure the proper vaccination
of certain dogs and cats.

Effective November 23, 1982.
