AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Chapter 10, title "Child Care" of
the Montgomery County Code 1972, as amended, for the purpose of
changing the title to "Group Day Care Centers"; making County law
consistent with recently enacted State law; providing for the
promulgation of Executive Regulations on health and welfare with
respect to the operation of group day care centers; modifying
licensing requirements; making technical modifications; and
relating generally to child care.

Effective October 14, 1982.

Laws of Montgomery County, 1983

AN ACT to add a new Chapter 3A, entitled "Alarms" to the
Montgomery County Code, 1972, as amended, to provide for alarm
signal charges, to place a time limit on audible alarms, to
provide for licensing ' of alarm businesses and to require
non-residential alarm users to obtain permits and permit decals,
to provide penalties for violations of the requirements of
Chapter 3A, and to authorize administration of this law in
municipalities which adopt Chapter 3A.

Effective January 31, 1983.

Laws of Montgomery County, 1983

AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Chapter 25, title "Hospitals,
Sanitariums, Nursing and Care Homes" of the Montgomery County
Code 1972, as amended, by repealing and reenacting with
amendments Section 25-10, title "Violations and Penalty", and
Section 25-22, title "Revocation or Suspension Generally" and
Section 25-23, title, "Appeals from Denial, Revocation or
Suspension", to provide for injunctive relief to enforce the
Chapter and to correct violations, and to provide for admissions
restrictions and related procedures.

Effective November 1, 1982.
