33-76, title "Payroll Deduction for Child Support" for the
purpose of establishing a procedure for automatic deductions for
child support payments.

AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Chapter 33, Title "Personnel" of
the Montgomery County Code 1972, as amended, by adding a new
Section 33-13A, title "Audits, Investigations and Inquiries",
amending Section 33-14, title "Hearing Authority of Board", and
adding a new Section 33-17, title "Prohibited Personnel
Practices; Criminal Penalty"; for the purpose of authorizing the
Merit System Protection Board to conduct investigations, hold
hearings on its own motion, refer certain matters to certain
investigative entities, order corrective actions with respect to
certain personnel matters; providing for the appointment of a
Special Personnel Investigator; imposing criminal penalties; and
relating generally to personnel.

Effective August 30, 1982.
