Laws of Montgomery County, 1983

AN ACT authorizing the issuance of bonds of Montgomery
County, Maryland, in the principal amount not exceeding $100,000
upon its full faith and credit for the construction of fire
engine houses within the Consolidated Fire Tax District as the
boundaries are defined by Chapter 21 of the Montgomery County
Code 1972, as amended, prescribing the terms and conditions, by
reference, upon which said bonds shall be issued and delivered
and other incidental details with respect thereto; providing for
the levy of unlimited ad valorem taxes for the payment of the
principal and interest thereof, and providing that the principal
and interest shall be paid primarily from the proceeds of the
district tax levied under the provisions of the said Chapter 21.

AN ACT to amend Chapter 2, title "Administration",
Montgomery County Code, 1972, as amended, by repealing and
reenacting with amendments Section 2-7, title "Location of
Sheriff's Office", Section 2-24, title "Compensation of County
Executive", Section 2-66, title "Compensation of Members of the
County Council", and Section 2-123A, title "Compensation of
State's Attorney" for the purpose of establishing the
compensation of the Sheriff, County Executive, the members of the
County Council and the Council President and the State's Attorney
during their next term in office.

Effective November 1, 1982.

AN ACT to amend Section 2-66, title "Compensation of Members
of the County Council" of Chapter 2, title "Administration" of
