ORDINANCE NO. 10-19

AN AMENDMENT to Division 59-A-6, title "Uses Permitted in
Any Zone"; and to Division 59-G-2, title "Special Exceptions -
Standards and Requirements", Section 59-G-2.19, title
"Educational Institutions, Private", Subsection (c), title
"Exemptions"; for the purpose of establishing procedures for
District Council review and approval of public school facility
re-use proposals, including broadening of applicable uses, report
and recommendation by Planning Board, and public hearing and
finding by District Council of neighborhood compatibility; and to
provide that a private educational institution use initiated
after December 13, 1983, in a public school facility shall be
subject to the public school re-use provisions established
herein.

Adopted February 14, 1984.

ORDINANCE NO. 10-20

AN AMENDMENT to Division 59-A-2, title "Definitions and
Interpretation", Section 59-A-2.1, title "Definitions"; to
Division 59-C-4, title "Commercial Zones", Section 59-C-4.0,
title "Land Uses"; and to Division 59-C-6, title "Central
Business District Zones", Section 59-C-6.22, title Land Uses";
and to Division 59-G-2, title "Special Exceptions - Standards and
Requirements", Section 59-G-2.33, title "Hotels and Motels"; to
clarify the County Council intent in adopting Ordinance No. 9-71,
that apartment-hotels are not required to maintain any rooms as
"guest rooms."

ORDINANCE NO. 10-21

AN AMENDMENT to Article 59-E, title "Off-Street Parking and
Loading", Division 59-E-l, title "Off-Street Parking Space",
Section 59-E-l.4, title, "Distance from Establishment Served";
and to Division 59-E-7, title "Number of Spaces Required",
Section 59-E-7.6, title "Schedule of Requirements"; to revise
parking requirements for regional shopping centers containing at
least five hundred thousand square feet of gross leasable area,
and to allow parking for regional shopping centers to be more
than 500 feet walking distance from the entrance of such shopping
centers under certain circumstances.
