RESOLUTION NO. R-15-83
A RESOLUTION CHANGING TOWN BOUNDARIES AND AUTHORIZING THE
ANNEXATION TO THE TOWN OF GLENARDEN OF APPROXIMATELY 46.68 ACRES
OF LAND LOCATED ADJACENT TO THE PRESENT CORPORATE LIMITS, SAID
PARCEL AKA-PALMER LIMITED PARTNERSHIP CORPORATION.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Town Council of Glenarden have
received a petition requesting the enlargement of the corporate
boundaries of the Town of Glenarden so as to include the above
noted parcels; and
WHEREAS, the signatures of the said petition for annexation
have been verified and it has been ascertained that the persons
signing said petition are owners of not less than twenty-five
percentum (25%) of the assessed valuation of the real property
located in the area to be annexed, and it has been ascertained
that there are no persons residing in the area to be annexed who
are registered voters in the county elections:

Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.
