AN ACT concerning

State Funding for Community Colleges

FOR the purpose of altering the level of State funding for
community colleges; increasing the maximum amount of State
aid per full-time equivalent student in certain community
colleges; increasing the amount of the flat annual grant and
part-time student grant to certain community colleges; and
limiting the employer social security contributions paid by
the State for certain positions in community colleges;
deleting an obsolete provision; and generally relating to
aid for community colleges.

MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

(c) (1) Except as otherwise provided in this subsection,
the State share is 50 percent of the current expenses of each
community college, but not more than [$878] $912 $910 per
full-time equivalent student.
