Section 1(3)(A)(3)

(a) Purchase unloading and support facilities for

handling dredge spoil - Hart-Miller Islands -
Phase II - Chesapeake Bay. PROVIDED THAT THIS
APPROPRIATION MAY NOT BE EXPENDED FOR
REPLACEMENT OF FISHING PIERS.................

Section 1(3)(G)(1)(a)

(7) Design, construct and equip three

pre-engineered buildings to be used for
program space at the Roxbury Correction
Facility where there has been a demonstrated
curtailment or reduction of programmatic

activities, and such reduction or

curtailment is a result of overcrowding
conditions in such facility. To maximize the

utilization of these facilities, such

facilities shall be designed to permit
utilization as emergency housing units in the
event that the inmate population in the
Division of Correction requires additional
housing. [The General Assembly believes
that temporary housing is an unsatisfactory
method of housing prisoners except on an
emergency basis and it is the intent of the
General Assembly that these facilities, if
utilized as emergency housing, be so used
only until new permanent facilities now

under construction at Roxbury are

completed.]..................................

Section 1(3)(G)(1)(c)

(2) Design, construct and equip three 100-bed
Emergency Housing Units. [As of the date on
which the new 720-bed medium security
institution at MCI-Hagerstown is authorized,
opened and accepting prisoners, the 3
temporary housing units shall no longer be
used to house prisoners.]....................
