3844 JOINT RESOLUTIONS
RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, That the
Governor is requested to appoint a board to meet regularly to
review and make recommendations regarding issues which require
interagency coordination involving all facilities which provide
domiciliary care; and be it further
RESOLVED, That in addition to its other activities, the
board should develop coordinated standards for resolving problems
involving community responses to facilities which provide
domiciliary care; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the board be composed of the following
members:
(1) The Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene;
(2) The Secretary of Human Resources;
(3) The Director of the Office on Aging;
(4) The Secretary of State Planning;
(5) One Two consumer member members, of whom one
shall be a representative of the Maryland Advocacy Unit for the
Developmentally Disabled; and
(6) Any other members the Governor considers to be
appropriate for the Board; and be it further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the
Honorable Harry Hughes, Governor; the Honorable Larry Young,
Chairman of the Environmental Matters Committee; Adele Wilzack,
Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene, 201 West Preston Street,
Baltimore, Maryland 21201; Ruth Massinga, Secretary of Human
Resources, 1100 N. Eutaw Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21201;
Rosalie S. Abrams, Director of the Office on Aging, 301 West
Preston Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21201; and Constance Lieder,
Secretary of State Planning, 301 West Preston Street, Baltimore,
Maryland 21201.
