EVIDENCE OF AN INTENT TO EVADE THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBTITLE;
(7) WILLFULLY OR DELIBERATELY DISREGARDED
DISCIPLINARY ACTION TAKEN BY ANY MUNICIPALITY, CITY, OR COUNTY;
(8) FAILED IN ANY MATERIAL RESPECT TO COMPLY WITH
THIS SUBTITLE; OR
(9) FAILED TO ADEQUATELY TRAIN AND CONTROL PERSONS
SELLING OR ESTIMATING ELECTRICAL WORK PERFORMED UNDER THE MASTER
ELECTRICIAN'S SUPERVISION.
(B) THE BOARD MAY IMPOSE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING DISCIPLINARY
ACTIONS:
(1) (I) SUSPEND THE LICENSE OF THE LICENSEE OR THE
LICENSE OF THE CONTRACTOR HAVING A QUALIFIED AGENT, FROM ALL
OPERATIONS AS AN ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR FOR NOT MORE THAN 1 YEAR.
(II) THE BOARD MAY PERMIT THE LICENSEE TO
COMPLETE ANY CONTRACT IN PROGRESS AND UNCOMPLETED AT THE TIME OF
SUSPENSION;
(2) (I) REVOKE A LICENSE UNTIL NOT LESS THAN 1 YEAR
AFTER THE DATE OF REVOCATION.
(II) THE BOARD, ON REQUEST FOR REINSTATEMENT,
SHALL CONDUCT A HEARING ON THE REQUEST AND MAKE A DETERMINATION
AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS SUBTITLE; OR.
(3) IMPOSE AN ADMINISTRATIVE FINE OR PENALTY OF NOT
MORE THAN $500.
(C) THE LAPSE OR SUSPENSION OF A LICENSE BY OPERATION OF
LAW OR BY ORDER OF THE BOARD OR A COURT, OR ITS VOLUNTARY
SURRENDER BY A LICENSE HOLDER, DOES NOT DEPRIVE THE BOARD OF
JURISDICTION TO INVESTIGATE OR ACT IN DISCIPLINARY PROCEEDINGS
AGAINST THE LICENSE HOLDER.
(D) THE STATE BOARD SHALL INFORM ALL LOCAL BOARDS OR
BUILDING OFFICIALS OF THE NAMES OF THOSE WHOSE LICENSES HAVE BEEN
SUSPENDED, REVOKED, OR REINSTATED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF SUCH ACTION.

(A) THIS SUBTITLE DOES NOT LIMIT THE POWER OF A
MUNICIPALITY, CITY, OR COUNTY TO REGULATE THE QUALITY AND
CHARACTER OF WORK PERFORMED BY ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS THROUGH A
SYSTEM OF LICENSES, PERMITS, FEES, AND INSPECTIONS DESIGNED TO
SECURE COMPLIANCE WITH AND AID IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF STATE
AND LOCAL BUILDING LAWS OR TO ENFORCE OTHER LOCAL LAWS FOR THE
PROTECTION OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY.
(B) THIS SUBTITLE DOES NOT LIMIT THE POWER OF A
MUNICIPALITY, CITY, OR COUNTY TO COLLECT FEES FOR LICENSES AND
