(6) The police department, bureau, or force of any
bicounty agency or the University of Maryland;
(7) The State Aviation Administration police force of
the Department of Transportation, the Mass Transit Administration
police force of the Department of Transportation, the Maryland
toll facilities police force of the Maryland Transportation
Authority, and the Maryland Port Administration police force of
the Department of Transportation;
(8) The police officers of the Department of Natural
Resources; [or]
(9) The Maryland Alcohol and Tobacco Tax Enforcement
Unit[.] OR
(10) THE SECURITY FORCE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL
SERVICES.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That any reference in
law, rule or regulation, legal action, directives or other
documents to the Office of Annapolis Public Buildings and
Grounds, or to the Office of Baltimore Public Buildings and
Grounds shall mean the Department of General Services.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That all employees of
Baltimore public buildings and grounds and Annapolis public
buildings and grounds on June 30, 1984, shall have no change or
loss of rights or status and shall retain their merit system and
retirement system status. Such employees and officials shall not
suffer any diminution of salary, wages, accrued leave, or
seniority rights and status as a result of this Act,
SECTION 3 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1984.
