BASIS OF THEIR POPULATION AS OF JULY 1 OF THE YEAR OF THE GRANT
AS DETERMINED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND MENTAL HYGIENE.

[(d)] (E) (D) Those funds so distributed to Baltimore City
and the counties under [subsection (c)(2) and (3)] SUBSECTIONS
(C)(2) AND (3) AND (D)(1) AND (2) of this section may be used for
transportation related projects or other purposes as determined
by the appropriate local government.

[(e)] (F) (E) Payment of funds in this section shall be
made to Baltimore City and the counties at monthly intervals.

8-403.

(a) Subject to §§ 33-307 and 3-308 of this article, during
each fiscal year, 17.5 percent of the total highway user
revenues, except the remainder of the net proceeds of the motor
vehicle gasoline tax collected under Article 56, § 136(i) and (j)
AND THE PROCEEDS COLLECTED UNDER ARTICLE 81, § 288A(1) of the

Code, shall be distributed to Baltimore City in monthly

installments.

(b) Subject to §§ 3-307 and 3-308 of this article, during
each fiscal year, 17.5 percent of the total highway user
revenues, except the remainder of the net proceeds of the motor
vehicle gasoline tax collected under Article 56, § 136(i) and (j)
AND THE PROCEEDS COLLECTED UNDER ARTICLE 81, § 288A(1) of the
Code, shall be distributed to the counties and municipalities of
this State at the times specified in § 8-407 of this subtitle.

(c) Subject to §§ 3-307 and 3-308 of this article, during
each fiscal year, 13.5 percent of the remainder of the net
proceeds of the motor vehicle gasoline tax collected under
Article 56, § 136(i) and (j) of the Code shall be distributed to
Baltimore City in monthly installments.

(d) Subject to §§ 3-307 and 3-308 of this article, during
each fiscal year, 13.5 percent of the remainder of the net
proceeds of the motor vehicle gasoline tax collected under
Article 56, § 136(i) and (j) of the Code shall be distributed to
the counties and municipalities of this State at the times
specified in § 8-407 of this subtitle.

(E)  SUBJECT TO §§ 3-307 AND 3-308 OF THIS ARTICLE, DURING
EACH FISCAL YEAR, 50 PERCENT OF THE PROCEEDS DISTRIBUTED TO THE
GASOLINE AND MOTOR VEHICLE REVENUE ACCOUNT BY ARTICLE 81, §
288A(1) SHALL BE DISTRIBUTED TO BALTIMORE CITY IN MONTHLY
INSTALLMENTS.

(F) SUBJECT TO §§ 3-307 AND 3-308 OF THIS ARTICLE, DURING
EACH FISCAL YEAR, 50 PERCENT OF THE PROCEEDS DISTRIBUTED TO THE
GASOLINE AND MOTOR VEHICLE REVENUE ACCOUNT BY ARTICLE 81, §
288A(1) SHALL BE DISTRIBUTED TO THE COUNTIES AND MUNICIPALITIES
OF THIS STATE AT THE TIMES SPECIFIED IN § 8-407 OF THIS SUBTITLE.
