Ch. 363

(ii) The methods for the care and preparation
of a dead human body for burial, cremation, and shipment;

(iii) The general and local laws of this State
on burials and burial permits; and

(iv) The laws and regulations on infectious
diseases.

(2)   In the practical part of the examination:

(i) The Board shall provide a dead human body;
and

(ii) In the presence of at least one third of
the licensed members of the Board, each applicant shall
demonstrate the applicant's knowledge and skill in embalming.

(3)  The written part of the examination [may be:] IS
THE [(i) The] national examination administered by the
Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards of the United
States[; or].

[(ii) An accredited examination prepared by the
Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards of the United
States.]

(4)   If an examination otherwise complies with the
requirements of this section, the Board may determine the
subjects, scope, form, and passing score for an examination given
under this subtitle.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

develop, obtain, and maintain certain information regarding
