The Secretary may accept, use, or expend any aid, gift, or
grant made available from any private or public source to carry
out the provisions of this subtitle.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety and having
been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of
all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the General
Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its
passage.

(Senate Bill 731)

AN ACT concerning

Board of Morticians - Examination

FOR the purpose of requiring the Board of Morticians to use a
certain national examination for the written part of the
Board's examination; and eliminating other examinations that
the Board may use for the written part of the Board's
examination.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Health Occupations
Section 6-304(d)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1981 Volume and 1983 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Health Occupations

6-304.

(d) (1) The examination shall include:

(i) The theoretical and practical aspects of
anatomy, sanitation, disinfection, and embalming;
