fence, vine, tree or wall, without FIRST OBTAINING the consent of
the owner or occupant of THE LAND [these lands first being
obtained].
(C) Any person who violates [any of] the provisions of this
section is guilty of a misdemeanor[,] and upon conviction [before
a court of competent jurisdiction,] shall be fined not less than
$1 nor more than $20 and costs.[, and upon] UPON refusal to pay
the [same he] FINE THE PERSON shall be confined in the county
jail for a period not exceeding 30 days, or until the fine and

37-2. Discharging firearm near dwelling.
Any person [in Washington County who shall shoot, fire or
discharge] WHO SHOOTS, FIRES, OR DISCHARGES any gun, rifle,
pistol or other firearm in such proximity to a house, residence
or other building or camp occupied or frequented by human beings
or in such proximity to farm animals and livestock[,] as to
endanger [thereby] the person or property of another, without the
express permission of the owner, occupant, or lessee, [thereof
shall be] IS guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be
sentenced to pay a fine not to exceed [$25.00] $25 and costs of

38-3. Duties.
[38-1. Established; membership.
(a) Established. The County Commissioners of Washington
County are hereby authorized and directed to establish the
Washington County Youth Commission.
(b) Members; number. The membership shall consist of
twenty (20) persons, one of whom the membership shall designate
as the chairman.
(c) Same; designated. Regular members of the Commission
shall be the Judge of the Circuit Court, Division of Juvenile
Causes of the County, the Superintendent of Schools for the
County, the Director of the County Welfare Board, and the County
Health Officer. The above listed members may be represented on
the Commission by a duly authorized person from the respective
board or department, providing said designated person is
acceptable to the County Commissioners. Fourteen members shall
be appointed by the County Commissioners and at least one of whom
shall be a Minister, one a person conversant with the problems of
labor, one with a thorough knowledge of law enforcement, one
shall be a woman, ten school students, five of whom shall be
