LAWS OF MARYLAND

Ch. 289

[No] A person granted a license under the provisions of this
subtitle [shall] MAY NOT install or repair electrical wires,
conductors, or apparatus for electric light, heat, or power
purposes after the expiration of [said] THE licenses, or after
[said] THE license [shall have] HAS been revoked [as herein
provided], unless the [said] license or ITS renewal [of same
shall have] HAS been renewed. [as herein provided; provided,
that any] ANY person [so] granted a license under the provisions
of this subtitle (unless the [said] license [shall have] HAS been
revoked [as hereinafter provided]) shall be granted a renewal of
[said] HIS license without examination of the applicant.[,
provided, application is] APPLICATION SHALL BE made to the [said]
Board by the holder of [such] THE license within [three] 3 months
preceding the expiration of [such] THE license[,] upon the
payment of a [fee of ten dollars ($10.00)] $10 FEE[, and the
said]. THE renewal of [said] THE license shall be for a 1 YEAR
period [of one (1) year, and any]. ANY such renewal of [such]
THE license shall have the same weight as evidence in any court
of this State as [hereinbefore] provided for [said] THE original
license.[; provided, also, that one] ONE year renewals shall be
granted in like manner upon expiration of any renewal of license
upon making like application and paying like fee[,] within
[three] 3 months preceding the expiration of [said] THE renewal.

12-8. Revocation of license.

[Said] THE Board [shall have full power to] MAY revoke for
proper cause any license or LICENSE renewal [of same] after a
full hearing of all parties in interest. (1957 Code, sec. 215.
1951, ch. 328, sec. 179H.)

12-9. Bond required of licensees.

Each license and LICENSE renewal [of same] shall be in force
and effect only so long as an approved bond filed with the [said]
Board in accordance with the provisions of this subtitle [shall
remain] REMAINS in full force and effect.[, and every] EVERY such
license or LICENSE renewal [of same] shall become utterly void
and of no effect[,] should any such bond for any reason
[whatsoever] WHATEVER become inoperative or ineffective,
regardless of the regular date of expiration of [said] THE
certificate or renewal. (1957 Code, sec. 216. 1951, ch. 328,
sec. 179-I.)

12-10. Display of license.

Any and all persons granted a license or LICENSE renewal [of
same] shall display [the same] IT in a conspicuous place in the
office or place of business of [such] THE licensee. (1957 Code,
sec. 217. 1951, ch. 328, sec. 179J.)

12-11. Work under supervision of Master Electrician.
