(10)  Ch. 592 of 1971, which enacted this and the following
sections, also repealed sec. 146A of Article 77 of the Annotated
Code (1970 Supplement), which provided for school bus
transportation for students attending Washington County
non-public schools, if deemed feasible and in the public
interest.

(11)  Payments to the Washington County Hospital Association
were covered by Section 807 of the 1930 Edition of the local
code, which was subsequently amended by ch. 71 of 1935 and
repealed by ch. 780 of 1957. Ch. 685 of 1955 provided an
additional payment to the Hospital and it also was repealed by
ch. 780 of 1957.

Section 533A of the 1930 Edition of the local code, enacted
by ch. 394 of 1937, provided for payments to the Infant and Child
Health Center. It was repealed by ch. 780 of 1957.

(12)  The two Acts of 1973 were identical.

11. Elections
11-1. Municipal referendum questions.

(A) (1) The Board of Supervisors of Elections of Washington
County, with the consent of the [Board of] County Commissioners
[of the county], may arrange with the appropriate officials of
any municipal corporation or of any special tax area within the
county to include municipal or tax area referendum questions on
the ballot or voting machine labels being used for any county or
State election.

(2) These questions may then appear on the ballots or
voting machine labels so that they may be voted upon only by
residents of the particular municipal corporation or special tax
area.

(B) (1) An agreement made under this section may include
provision for the payment by the municipal corporation or special
tax area of a portion or all of the cost of conducting the
referendum and tabulating the votes.

(2) [; and any] ANY moneys paid to a county under
such an agreement shall be credited to the general funds of the
county.

(C)  The board of supervisors of elections and the [board
of] county commissioners may provide for the details and
procedures for giving effect to the provisions of this section.
