Each member of the Commission is entitled to reimbursement
for expenses under the standard travel regulations, as provided
in the State budget.]

[549.

(a)  The Commission shall receive such funds as are provided
in the budget.

(b)  The Governor may apply for any federal, private, or
other fund sources to support the Commission.

(c)   Subject to Article 40, § 51 of the Code, the Commission
shall report its findings and recommendations to the General
Assembly by July 1, 1982.]

Any program adopted under this subtitle terminates on
January 1, 1983 unless, prior to its termination, its period of
operation is extended by an act of the General Assembly or the
Governor.]

Article - Health - General

10-911.

In addition to the duties set forth elsewhere in Part II of
this subtitle, [the Secretary shall:

(1)  On or before January 1, 1983, subject to Article
40, § 51 of the Code, submit to the General Assembly a report
that evaluates the program.

(2)   In] IN consultation with the advisory committee,
THE SECRETARY SHALL:

[(i)] (1) Set the policies for operation and
management of the program;

[(ii)] (2) Adopt rules and regulations for
admission of individuals to the program; and

[(iii)] (3) Make contractual arrangements for
operation of the program.

SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s) 4-101
through 4-110, inclusive, and the subtitle "Subtitle 1. Generally
Applicable Provisions" and 5-101 through 5-124, inclusive, and
the title "Title 5. Records" of Article 24 - Political
Subdivisions - Miscellaneous Provisions, of the Annotated Code of

Maryland (as enacted by Chapter ___(S.B. 50) of the Acts of the

General Assembly of 1984) be repealed.
