after the expiration of five (5) years and sixty (60) days from
the date of the last pertinent date thereon or record entry
therein, provided that the requirements of [§§ 177, 178 and 180
of Article 41 of the Code, title "Governor -- Executive and
Administrative Departments,"] TITLE 10, SUBTITLE 6, PART V OF THE
STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE have been complied with.

Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings

(b) Before any pleadings, papers, or files are destroyed,
the proposed destruction shall be approved in writing by the
judge exercising the functions of administrative judge in the
county in the case of circuit court records or the Chief Judge of
the District Court in the case of [district] DISTRICT COURT
records, and the records shall be disposed of in accordance with
[the provisions of §§ 7, 8, and 10 of Article 54 of the Code]
TITLE 10, SUBTITLE 6, PART V OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE.

SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows:

Article 10 - Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact

(j) [He] THE STATE PROSECUTOR shall submit an annual report
to the Governor, to the Attorney [General] GENERAL, and, subject
to § 2-1312 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT Article [40, § 51 of the
Code], to the General Assembly on the activities of his office
which are not confidential.

(b) [Subject to Article 40, § 51 of the Code, the] THE
State's Attorneys' Coordinator shall submit an annual report ON
THE ACTIVITIES OF THE OFFICE:

(1)  to the Governor[,];

(2)  TO the Attorney General[,];

(3)   SUBJECT TO § 2-1312 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT
ARTICLE, TO the General Assembly[,];

(4)  TO the State's Attorneys' Coordination
Council[,]; and

(5)  TO the Maryland State's Attorneys' Association,
Inc. [on the activities of his office.]
