which the office in which the reports, statements, and accounts
are kept is open. Thereafter, the reports, statements, and
accounts shall be transferred to the Hall of Records [where they
shall be maintained in accordance with Article 54, § 10 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland]. Before transferring any reports,
statements or accounts to the Hall of Records, the officer or
board with whom they were filed shall make a permanent record of
all election reports required to have been filed by § 26-11 but
which have not been filed. The permanent record shall include the
name of the candidate or the committee, the treasurer, an
identification of the missing report, and, if a final report, a
notation of the amount of any outstanding balance, bills or
deficits as shown on the last report filed. The officer or board
shall file a copy of this permanent record with the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws and with the Hall of
Records. Copies of these reports, statements and accounts
certified by the principal administrative officer in whose office
they are kept under the seal of his office shall be evidence in
any court to the same extent as the original report, statement or
account would be if produced and proved.
Article 78 - Public Service Commission Law
11.
The secretary may, with the approval of the Commission and
in conformity with [the procedure presently prescribed by § 177
of Article 41 of the Annotated Code of Maryland and by § 178 of
said Article 41, or as such procedure may hereafter be changed,
amended or modified] TITLE 10, SUBTITLE 6, PART V OF THE STATE
GOVERNMENT ARTICLE, destroy any records or documents in the
possession of the Commission, including any records or documents
required by law to be filed with the Commission, which have been
maintained on file for not less than three (3) years and which he
may deem obsolete and of no further use in carrying out the
powers and duties of the Commission.
Article - Commercial Law
10-102.
(1) Transactions validly entered into before the effective
date specified in § 10-101 and the rights, duties and interests
flowing from them remain valid thereafter and may be terminated,
completed, consummated or enforced as required or permitted by
any statute or other law amended or repealed by Titles 1 through
10 of this article as though such repeal or amendment had not
occurred.
(2) Record books, indices, dockets, and any other papers or
records permitted or required to be recorded, filed or maintained
in the office of the clerk of the circuit court for any county
under the provisions of any article, section, or other portion of
the Maryland Code repealed by Ch. 538, Acts of 1963 may be
destroyed or otherwise disposed of by said clerk at any time
