9-204. COMPENSATION; STAFF.

(A)  COMPENSATION AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES.

(1)  A MEMBER OF THE COMMISSION MAY NOT RECEIVE
COMPENSATION.

(2)  MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION AND THE ASSOCIATE
MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE FROM THE STATE ARE ENTITLED TO
REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES INCURRED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THEIR
DUTIES, AS PROVIDED IN THE STATE BUDGET.

(B)  STAFF; EXPENSES.

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATE BUDGET, THE COMMISSION MAY:

(1)  EMPLOY A STAFF; AND

(2)  MAKE NECESSARY EXPENDITURES.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 41, §
154(c) and the second sentence of (b).

9-205. CONTRIBUTION TO NATIONAL CONFERENCE.

THE COMMISSION MAY CONTRIBUTE TO THE EXPENSES OF THE
NATIONAL CONFERENCE, AS PROVIDED IN THE STATE BUDGET.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 41, §
154(d).

The former phrase "out of its annual appropriation" is
deleted as unnecessary in light of the reference to
the "State budget".

The former phrase "as they may think proper" is
deleted as unnecessary in light of the word "may".

9-206. DUTIES.

(A) UNIFORM LAWS.

IN ADDITION TO ANY DUTIES SET FORTH ELSEWHERE, THE
COMMISSION SHALL:

(1) REPRESENT THE STATE IN THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE;
