THE COMMISSION MAY HEAR AND DECIDE AN APPEAL OF A DENIAL OF
A LICENSE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived

7(a), (b)(2), and (h), § 10(a), and the first sentence
of § 8(e).

Subsection (c)(2) of this section is revised to state,
as part of this subtitle, a requirement that former
Art. 88D, § 7(b)(2) required to be contained in the
regulations. See revisor's note to § 9-110 of this
subtitle.

In subsection (d) of this section, the reference to
denial of a "license" is substituted for the former
reference to "licensing of a lottery agent pursuant to
... this article", for brevity.

9-113. SCOPE OF LICENSE.

A LICENSE AUTHORIZES THE LICENSEE TO ACT AS A STATE LOTTERY
SALES AGENT WHILE THE LICENSE IS EFFECTIVE.

without substantive change from former Art. 88D, § 11
and is revised in standard language.

The former introductory phrase "[n]otwithstanding any
other provision of law" is deleted as unnecessary in
light of § 9-102 of this subtitle.

9-114. BOND OF LICENSED AGENT.

THE DIRECTOR SHALL REQUIRE A BOND FROM EACH LICENSED AGENT
IN THE AMOUNT THAT THE REGULATIONS OF THE AGENCY SET.
