REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 40, §§ 32
and 33, as those sections related to the Department of
Fiscal Services and fiscal reports.

In the introductory clause of subsection (a) of this
section, the former word "services" is deleted as
unnecessary.

In subsection (a)(4) of this section, the word "body"
is substituted for the former phrase "commission or
committee", for brevity.

In subsection (b) of this section, the former
reference to a standing committee "functioning when
the General Assembly is not in session" is deleted as
obsolete in light of § 2-1102 of this title.

(3)  THE DIVISION OF FISCAL RESEARCH.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 40, §
59(a).

The former general reference to the "duties, ... and
employees" of these units is deleted as surplusage.
