AN ACT concerning
HOTEL RENTAL TAX
FOR the purpose of amending Chapter 166 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Caroline County, Maryland to establish a hotel rental tax pursuant to Article 24,
Subtitle 3 of the Annotated Code of Maryland; specifying the hotel rental tax
rate; providing for the payment, collection, distribution and overall
administration of the hotel rental tax; requiring revenues from the hotel rental
tax to be used for tourism development and promotion; providing that this title
be deemed a fair summary of this public local law for all purposes; and relating
generally to the levy of a hotel rental tax in Caroline County.

Ordinance No. 2004-004
AN ACT concerning
CODE OF PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF CAROLINE COUNTY
CHAPTER 175 - ZONING
VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES
FOR the purpose of amending Chapter 175 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Caroline County, Maryland, to declare violations of the provisions of Chapter 175 and
its requirements to be civil infractions subject to civil penalties; and providing for the
imposition of civil fines and other ordinance enforcement mechanisms by the Zoning
Administrator.
