renovation, reconstruction, and capital equipping of a house to
be used as an emergency shelter, located in Lanham.
Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund
may consist of funds expended prior to the effective date of this
Act (Prince George's County)......................................................... 250,000
(BK) Walker Mill Regional Park. Provide a grant equal to the lesser
of (i) $300,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided,
to the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning
Commission for the planning, design, demolition, construction,
renovation, and capital equipping of Walker Mill Regional Park,
including renovation of the ball field complex, play area, and
rest room facility, construction of additional parking and a
water and sewer line, realignment of the entry road, and other
related site improvements, located in Capitol Heights, subject to
a requirement that the grantee grant and convey an historic
easement to the Maryland Historical Trust (Prince George's
County)............................................................................................ 300,000
(BL) Patuxent River Naval Air Museum and Visitors Center. Provide
a grant equal to the lesser of (i) $350,000 or (ii) the amount of
the matching fund provided, to the Board of County
Commissioners of St. Mary's County for the planning, design,
construction, renovation, reconstruction, and capital equipping
of the buildings and permanent exhibits of the Patuxent River
Naval Air Museum and Visitors Center, to be located adjacent
to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park (St.
Mary's County)................................................................................ 350,000
(BM) Sotterley Plantation. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i)
$50,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided, to the
Board of Directors of Sotterley Foundation, Inc. for the
planning, design, acquisition, construction, installation, and
capital equipping of security upgrades for Sotterley Plantation,
located in Hollywood, subject to a requirement that the grantee
grant and convey an historic easement to the Maryland
Historical Trust. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the
matching fund may consist of in kind contributions (St. Mary's
County)............................................................................................ 50,000
(BN) Frederick Douglass Memorial. Provide a grant equal to the
lesser of (i) $100,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund
provided, to the Frederick Douglass Memorial Action Coalition
for the design and construction of a monument to the life and
legacy of Frederick Douglass, to be located in Easton (Talbot
County)............................................................................................ 100,000
(BO) Community Free Clinic. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i)
$75,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided, to the
Board of Directors of the Regional Community Health Care
