Ch. 445 2005 LAWS OF MARYLAND
Center Foundation, Inc. for the acquisition of the Community
Free Clinic, located in Hagerstown (Washington County).......... 75,000
(BP) Discovery Station at Hagerstown. Provide a grant equal to the
lesser of (i) $30,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund
provided, to the Board of Directors of the Discovery Station at
Hagerstown, Inc. for the construction of exhibits and renovation
of the Discovery Station at Hagerstown site, located in
Hagerstown, subject to a requirement that the grantee grant
and convey an historic easement to the Maryland Historical
Trust. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching
fund may consist of in kind contributions or funds expended
prior to the effective date of this Act (Washington County)....... 30,000
(BQ) Camp Sandy Pines. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i)
$63,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided, to the
Board of Directors of the Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay
Council, Inc. for the construction of a tree house unit and a
shower house, located at the Camp Sandy Pines property in
Wicomico County (Wicomico County)............................................ 63,000
(BR) Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce. Provide a grant equal to
the lesser of (i) $100,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund
provided, to the Board of Directors of the Salisbury Area
Chamber of Commerce, Inc. for the planning, design, repair,
renovation, construction, reconstruction, and capital equipping
of the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce building, located
in Salisbury. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the
matching fund may consist of funds expended prior to the
effective date of this Act (Wicomico County)................................ 100,000
(BS) Ocean City Visitors and Information Center. Provide a grant
equal to the lesser of (i) $50,000 or (ii) the amount of the
matching fund provided, to the Board of Directors of the Ocean
City, Maryland Chamber of Commerce, Inc. for the planning,
design, construction, and capital equipping of the Ocean City
Visitors and Information Center, located in Ocean City.
Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund
may consist of real property, in kind contributions, or funds
expended prior to the effective date of this Act (Worcester
County)............................................................................................ 50,000

(A) Local Senate Initiatives. Provide funds for local initiatives
selected by the Senate.................................................................... 12,500,000
(A) Baltimore Museum of Art. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of
