Ch. 445                                    2005 LAWS OF MARYLAND of the Fayette Street Outreach Organization, Inc. for the
planning, design, construction, repair, renovation, and
construction of two buildings that will be remodeled into one
building to serve as office space for the Fayette Outreach
Organization, Inc. and a community center, located in
Baltimore City. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the
matching fund may consist of real property or funds expended
prior to the effective date of this Act (Baltimore City)................              200,000 (Q) The Hearing and Speech Agency Building. Provide a grant
equal to the lesser of (i) $250,000 or (ii) the amount of the
matching fund provided, to the Board of Directors of the
Hearing and Speech Agency of Metropolitan Baltimore, Inc. for
the continued planning, design, construction, and capital
equipping of a new building for the Hearing and Speech Agency
of Metropolitan Baltimore, subject to a requirement that the
grantee grant and convey an historic easement to the Maryland
Historical Trust. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the
matching fund may consist of funds expended prior to the
effective date of this Act (Baltimore City)....................................              250,000 (R) The League for People with Disabilities. Provide a grant equal
to the lesser of (i) $100,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching
fund provided, to the Board of Directors of The League for
People with Disabilities for the renovation of a building owned
by The League for People with Disabilities to provide services
for people with disabilities, located in Baltimore City (Baltimore
City).................................................................................................              100,000 (S) Moveable Feast Expansion. Provide a grant equal to the lesser
of (i) $150,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided,
to the Board of Directors of Moveable Feast, Inc. for the design
and construction of a new building to expand the service
capacity of Moveable Feast to provide additional space for
providing nutritionally appropriate meals and nutritional
counseling to low income individuals and families struggling
with HIV and AIDS who are homebound, located in Baltimore
City. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching
fund may consist of real property or funds expended prior to the
effective date of this Act (Baltimore City)....................................              150,000 (T) The Metro Delta Community Outreach Center. Provide a grant
equal to the lesser of (i) $150,000 or (ii) the amount of the
matching fund provided, to the Board of Directors of the Metro
Delta Torchbearer Foundation, Inc. for the planning, design,
repair, renovation, and reconstruction of a building to be used
as a community outreach center, located in Baltimore City,
subject to a requirement that the grantee grant and convey an
historic easement to the Maryland Historical Trust. - 2472 -
