(K) Academy of Success Community Center. Provide a grant of
$100,000 to the Board of Directors of the Academy of Success,
Inc. for the acquisition, planning, design, renovation,
reconstruction, and capital equipping of a building to be used as
a community center, located in Baltimore City (Baltimore City). 100,000
(L) Belair-Edison Foreclosure Initiative. Provide a grant equal to
the lesser of (i) $200,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund
provided, to the Board of Directors of Belair-Edison
Neighborhoods, Inc. for the acquisition, planning, design,
repair, renovation, and reconstruction of residential properties
in the Belair and Edison areas of Baltimore City.
Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund
may consist of funds expended prior to the effective date of this
Act (Baltimore City)........................................................................ 200,000
(M) Creative Alliance. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i)
$250,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided, to
the Board of Trustees of the Creative Alliance, Inc. for the
acquisition and construction of the current Creative Alliance
building, to be used for providing programs not limited to free
community-arts programs for neighborhood families,
exhibitions, performances, screenings, and workshops, located
in Baltimore City. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the
matching fund may consist of real property or funds expended
prior to the effective date of this Act (Baltimore City)................ 250,000
(N) Delta Lambda Foundation Outreach Center. Provide a grant
equal to the lesser of (i) $200,000 or (ii) the amount of the
matching fund provided, to the Board of Directors of Delta
Lambda Foundation, Inc. for the acquisition, design, repair,
renovation, reconstruction, and capital equipping of a building
to serve as an outreach center, located in Baltimore City.
Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund
may consist of real property, in kind contributions, or funds
expended prior to the effective date of this Act (Baltimore City). 200,000
(O) East Baltimore Community Recreation and Learning Center.
Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i) $300,000 or (ii) the
amount of the matching fund provided, to the Mayor and City
Council of the City of Baltimore for the acquisition, planning,
design, and construction of a facility to be used as a community
recreation and learning center, to be located in Baltimore City,
subject to a requirement that the grantee grant and convey an
historic easement to the Maryland Historical Trust (Baltimore
City)................................................................................................. 300,000
(P) Fayette Street Outreach Organization Community Center-
Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i) $200,000 or (ii) the
amount of the matching fund provided, to the Board of Directors
