Ch. 445 2005 LAWS OF MARYLAND
Conference and Visitors Bureau, Inc. for the planning, design,
construction, renovation, and reconstruction of the Annapolis
and Anne Arundel County Conference and Visitors Bureau
Center, located in Annapolis, subject to a requirement that the
grantee grant and convey an historic easement to the Maryland
Historical Trust. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the
matching fund may consist of real property Community Center
at Woods. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i) $100,000 or
(ii) the amount of the matching fund provided, to the Board of
Directors of Woods Community Center, Inc. for the planning,
design, construction, renovation, and capital equipping of the
Community Center at Woods, located in Severna Park.
Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund may
consist of funds expended prior to the effective date of this Act
(Anne Arundel County).................................................................. 100,000
(G) Chesapeake Arts Center. Provide a grant of $300,000 to the
Board of Directors of the Chesapeake Arts Center, Inc. for the
renovation, repair, reconstruction, and capital equipping of the
Chesapeake Arts Center, located in Brooklyn Park (Anne
Arundel County).............................................................................. 300,000
(H) Regional Boys and Girls Clubs of Annapolis. Provide a grant
equal to the lesser of (i) $750,000 or (ii) the amount of the
matching fund provided, to the Board of Directors of the Boys
and Girls Clubs of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, Inc. for
the reconstruction, renovation, restoration, and capital
equipping of Wiley H. Bates High School for use by the Boys
and Girls Clubs of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, located
in Annapolis, subject to a requirement that the grantee grant
and convey an historic easement to the Maryland Historical
Trust. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching
fund may consist of in kind contributions (Anne Arundel
County)............................................................................................ 750,000
(I) Respite Home on South Haven. Provide a grant equal to the
lesser of (i) $70,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund
provided, to the Board of Directors of Harbour Health Group for
the renovation and construction of an addition to the property
located on South Haven Road for use as a short-term respite
home for the elderly, located in Annapolis (Anne Arundel
County)............................................................................................ 70,000
(J) YMCA Camp Letts. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i)
$50,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided, to the
Board of Directors of the YMCA - Metropolitan Washington,
Inc. for the construction and installation of a sewage treatment
system at the Camp Letts facility, located in Edgewater (Anne
Arundel County).............................................................................. 50,000
