MF05 OFFICE OF THE CHIEF MEDICAL EXAMINER
(Baltimore City)
(A) New Forensic Medical Center. Provide funds to prepare
preliminary plans to construct a new Forensic Medical Center,
provided that no funds shall be expended for planning or design
until the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH),
the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), and the
Department of General Services (DGS) have prepared and
submitted a report to the budget committees by September 1,
2005, that provides an analysis of potential suitable sites for the
future construction of a new forensic medical center for the
Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME). Any site
considered by DHMH, DBM, and DGS as a potentially suitable
