(House Bill 401)
AN ACT concerning
Worcester County - Alcoholic Beverages - Sales and Deliveries by Liquor
Control Board
FOR the purpose of authorizing the Liquor Control Board of Worcester County to sell
or deliver certain alcoholic beverages to retail license holders at certain times
during each day of the week; and generally relating to alcoholic beverages in
Worcester County.
BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
Section 11-102(a)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
11-102.
(a) Except as otherwise provided in this section, the hours during which
alcoholic beverages may be sold or delivered to retail license holders by holders of
wholesalers' licenses are from 6 a.m. to midnight, on every day except Sundays.
(G) IN WORCESTER COUNTY, THE HOURS DURING WHICH THE LIQUOR
CONTROL BOARD MAY SELL OR DELIVER ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. EXCEPT BEER AND
LIGHT WINE. TO RETAIL LICENSE HOLDERS ARE FROM 6 A.M. TO MIDNIGHT MONDAY
THROUGH SATURDAY AND FROM 9 A.M. TO 5 P.M. ON SUNDAY.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 2006.
