(I)      SEVEN MEMBERS WHO SHALL RESIDE IN AND BE ELECTED,
RESPECTIVELY, BY THE ELIGIBLE VOTERS OF EACH OF THE SEVEN COUNTY
COMMISSIONER DISTRICTS; AND (II)     FOUR MEMBERS WHO SHALL RESIDE IN WORCESTER COUNTY,
BE ELECTED AT LARGE BY THE ELIGIBLE VOTERS OF THE ENTIRE COUNTY, AND
RECEIVE THE HIGHEST NUMBER OF VOTES CAST FOR CANDIDATES IN THE AT LARGE
ELECTION. (2)      (I) A CANDIDATE FOR ELECTION TO THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY
CENTRAL COMMITTEE SHALL DECLARE AT THE TIME OF FILING A CERTIFICATE OF
CANDIDACY WHICH SEAT THE CANDIDATE IS SEEKING. (II) A MEMBER ELECTED TO REPRESENT A SPECIFIC COUNTY
COMMISSIONER DISTRICT WHO CEASES TO RESIDE IN THAT DISTRICT MAY NOT
CONTINUE TO SERVE ON THE CENTRAL COMMITTEE. (3)      ANY VACANCY IN A SEAT ON THE CENTRAL COMMITTEE HELD BY AN
INDIVIDUAL ELECTED FROM A COUNTY COMMISSIONER DISTRICT SHALL BE FILLED
BY AN INDIVIDUAL WHO RESIDES IN THAT DISTRICT. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, subject to § 4-202(f) of
the Election Law Article, the terms of the members of the Worcester County
Democratic Party Central Committee elected under this Act shall expire as follows: (1)     the term of the member elected at the November 2006 election from
county commissioner district 1, 3, 5, 4, 6, and 7 shall expire after the November 2010
election, and then expire each four years thereafter; (2)     the term of the member elected at the November 2006 election from
county commissioner district 2, 4, and 6 3, and 5 shall expire after the November 2008
election, and then expire each four years thereafter; and (3)     (i) the term of each of the two members elected from the county at
large at the November 2006 election who receive the highest and second highest
number of votes cast at that election shall expire after the November 2010 election,
and then expire each four years thereafter; and (ii) the term of each of the two members elected from the county at
large at the November 2006 election who receive the third and fourth highest number
of votes cast at that election shall expire after the November 2008 election, and then
expire each four years thereafter. SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 2006. Enacted May 26, 2006.
