       by a Certain George Richardson then Survey.r to goe with him & assist him
       in surveying of sundry Tract of Land ^one of which was a Tract of Land^ laid out for John Edmondson called
       Calf pasture scituate on the south side of Great Choptank River in Dorchest.r
       County Then called Talbott County Beginning at a Marked oake standing on a point
       on the East Side of a Small Creeke that falls into the said River Neer half a
       Mile below a Creeke called Secretarys Creeke or Ferry Creek where a Certain Isaac
       Nicholls now keep Ferry  And the said Deponent saith on his oath afd that he
       with the assistance of one Richard Bowen did Marke the Beginning Tree afd
       as also the said Depon.t doth further on his oath declare that when the said
       Land was laid out for Edmondson as afd of the Indians lived on the said Land
       and that he doth not remember that any Indians at that time lived below
       the said Land  And the said William Willoughby doth further on his oath say
       that Twenty odd years since he was bound up the said Choptank River and
       the wind Blowing Contrary he putt into the said Small Creek for a harbour &
       went a shore on the afd point and did then soe the said Marked Oake Tree
       of said Land Calf pasture which was then fallen downe and part Rotten
       And that he Rid yesterday downe to the said Creeke and the said Beginning
       Tree of the said Land called Calf pasture as afd was quite gone And further
       saith not
                        The above Examination taken before us as Wittness our hands &
                        Seales this Seventeenth day of October Annoq Dm 1711
