Maryland Calv.t County fs         Jan.ry 8.th 1710/11

          The Deposition of Thomas Arnoll Aged Seaventy Seaven
       Years or thereabouts who Declares upon the holy Evangelist that     
       about forty Years Agon or upwards the Said Deponent Saith one
       Raphael Hawood did Live upon a plantation at Clements Bay
       in S.t Mary's County afterwards the said Hawood did Remove to a
       Plantation in Calvert County Called Simon Reader's Some time
       after Your Depon.t Removed himself to the afd Calvert County to
       Live and took an occasion to goe and see the wife of the Said Raphael
       Haywood She being a fellow Serv.t to the Said Depon.t the Said Haywood
       then Living upon a plantation which is now in dispute between
       the heirs of William Feild and John Brooke the Said Plantation
       Generally going by the name of Ceader Branch or Chapling and
       further the Deponent Saith not
