June 20.th 1699
       The Deposition of Jn.o Emerson Examined and sworn saith that he
       had the Pattent in his possession near one Year  And that upon the
       Back of the said Pattent their was a fair Assignm.t from Whettston
       unto Thomas Emerson of the Land called Whettston with two Wittnesses
       viz.t Symon Stevens and Jn.o Brown subscribing as Wittnesses thereunto
       and further saith that he doth believe that full and ample
       satisfaction was made unto Whettston for the Land in Building and further
       saith not                                Jn.o Emerson


       The above Deposition Examined and Sworn to by the persons
       above mentioned to be the truth the whole truth and nothing
       but the Truth
                            Coram Nos            Robert Smith
                                                          Jn.o Hawkins

       By Vertue of a Comission to us directed out of Chancery for
