       According to a Comicon to us Directed out of yo.r Court of Chancery
       Wee did cause to come before us on the fourth day of October in y.e
       Year 1698 Charles Hollingsworth and Richard Ratcliff To give y.e
       bounds of a tract of Land called Maiden Point in the possession of W.m
       Worrowlow which accordingly they did carry us to a bounded White
       Oak fallen downe a banck w.ch was y.e first bounded tree of y.e afd
       Tract of land as upon there Test they did Declare and as by there
       Test more largely doth appeare  The aforesaid Ratcliff did carye us to a
       Second tree w.ch he said was the breadth that M.r Writhers and M.r Hemsley
       did run when he was with them but the name of the land he did
       not know wee did bound another White Oak w.ch stood duetily to
       that fallen downe y.e Banck About Tenn Yards upon the land M.r
       James Benton w.ch is concerned in y.e said tract of Land being p.rsent
       with us wee have as Near as wee could observed everry p.rticuler
       to us directed and doe assure yo.r Hono.r by the Inclosed Tests this
       to be the true bounds of the aforesaid land  Wittness Our hands
       and seales this 15.th day of Feb.ry 1698

       Came before us Phillip Connaway Sen.r Aged Seventy Nine Yeares or
       Thereabouts and took his oath upon y.e holy Evangelist that about Thirty
       Two Yeares Agoe he lived with Jenkin Price at his plantation at y.e
       Entrance of y.e North west side of Pocomoak River  And the above said
       Jenkin Price was then Survey.r and I Phillip Connaway further saith y.t
       I desired of Jenkin Price to lay me out a peice of land that lay between
       y.e said Jenkin Prices said Plantacon and a Tract of land formly laid out by y.e
       said Survey.r for Micham Thomas and y.e said Price y.e Survey.rs Answ.r was I can
       in Noe way doe soe for I have already laid the said land out for my Kinsman
       W.m Price and is called by the name of Prices grove  And to my knowledge
       beginning at a markt White Oak standing in a little Hammock by a Gutt side
       joineing to the Riv.r called Prices grove as afd  And I Henry Scholfeild in company
       with M.r Sam.ll Hazlewood Jn.o Brittingham and James Henderson being then p.rsent &
       by the s.d Phillip Connaway volluntarilly shewed the said bounden white oak to us &
       affirmed the same to be the said Tree of the said Prices grove as afd  And y.e said Phillip
       Connaway being an Inhabitt.r of Virginia and Maryland abo.t fifty Yeares  And
       further saith Not         Taken & sworne before us                     George Layfeild   (seal)
