411 of the Quarter Masters Came and Asked the Cap.t whether he would to sea he Demanded what the Company were inclined to do who was Answered they were willing he then Concluded to go and Imediately weighed I then again heartily begg'd for my Sloop and men after much Intreaty the Cap.t ordered me my boat but not my men he then being under saile I went on Board my Sloop with what men he had left me and after I had sett one M.r Pope a Merchant on Board the flyboat who had been deteined on Board y.e Pyrate I then Stood right up the Bay for the Porte of Annapolis in Maryland and Imediately upon my Arrivall there I made my Application to his Ex.cy the Governo.r gave his Ex.cy an Acc.t of what had happened was by his Ex.cy directed to an Officer to whom I made Reporte after which I went on Board my Sloop with my men and then I Called over all my Goods and found wanting the severall Goods & Comoditys hereafter mentioned These Severall Goods hereafter mentioned taken by the s.d Pyrate from on Board the Sloop Oranoak Merch.t that is to say
