       upon & y.t There was a distance between y.e place when y.e above
       bounded tree stood & y.e Cove afd but how far cannot resolve

       By virtue of y.e above named Comiss.n We required M.r Andrew
       Skinner to declare upon oath what he knew of y.e bounds
       of y.e af.d Land in dispute between Ambrose Kennemon &
       Jacob Gibson  He answered y.t through age he finds that
       within these twelve months his Memory fails him very much
       for wch reason he saith positively he cannot swear any thing
       relating to this Matter but saith y.t Major Smithson had
       formerly a Comission directed to him touching y.e bounds of
      
y.e s.d Land now in dispute  In obedience to wch he gave
       his Deposition to Major Smithson wch deposition he refers
       to

       Deposit.ns of Witnesses taken at y.e Court house in Charles
       County on y.e twenty ninth day of Novemb.r in y.e year of
       our Lord 1698 by virtue of a Comission out of his Majesties
       high Court of Chancery to us Robert Yates & Philip Briscoe
       Gent directed for y.e examination of severall Witnesses
       touching a tract of Land in Prince Georges County belonging
       to Hen.r Hawkins Gent called Locust Thickett &c

                  Major W.m Dent aged about thirty Eight years sworn &
                  examined saith That by y.e order of M.r Hen.r Hawkins & Elizabeth
                  his Wife Jane Price then being present he did draw a
                  certain Indenture of Conveyance between
y.e s.d Hen.r Hawkins
                  & Eliz his Wife of y.e one pt &
y.e s.d Jane Price on y.e other
                   pt for a certain tract of Land called Locust Thickett
                   lying formerly in Charles County but now in Prince Georges
                   County & y.t
y.e s.d Jane Price did then assent to y.e drawing of y.e
       s.d Indenture & after y.e s.d Indent.r was drawn this Dept did read y.e same
       to
y.e s.d Jane Price & she did then also consent to y.e same  And farther
       That this Dept was present when
y.e s.d Jane Price acknowledged y.e
       s.d Indent.r of Conveyance to y.e s.d Hen.r Hawkins & Wife & y.t then also
       she did consent & yt at all y.e times afd to this Dept
y.e s.d Jane Price
       appeared to be in her perfect sense & Reason & of a sound and
       disposing Mind  And farther saith not
