       Causes (viz.t Mercer ag.st Peterson &c.a) ordered for tryall &
       some Petitions to y.e Court offered & granted

                The Court adjourns till to Morrow Morning

       William the third by y.e grace of God of
       England Scotland France & Ireland King defend.r
       of y.e Faith &c.a  Whereas Thomas Mercer of
       Ceecil County has by his bill of Complaint exhibited
       into our high Court of Chancery y.e 20.th day of July
       Anno Dom 1693 set forth  That in or about the
       Month of October which was in y.e fourth year of
       Our Reign he y.e s.d Thomas & one John Peterson
       of y.e s.d County upon Comunication had between them
       did mutually condescend & agree That for y.e Consideration
       of Ten thousand pounds of Tob to be by y.e s.d Mercer
       paid unto y.e s.d Peterson he y.e s.d Peterson was to secure
