       And Customs of England and of s.d Province  And
       soe Comand the sev.ll & respective Officers belonging to an
       said High Court of Chancery & all other persons whatsoever
       any ways Concerned or w.ch of Right ought to
       attend on our said Court to give due obedience to the
       Orders Rules and directions of the Judges of our s.d Court
       fully authorizeing constituteing and Impowring you
       the s.d Henry Jowles Kenelm Chesledyne and Edward
       Dorsey as Judges of our s.d Court in all things as becomes
       In Witness ^our trusty & well beloved^ Francis Nicholson Esq.r Cap.t gen.ll
       and Governo.r in Chief in & over our ^s.d^ Province off
       Maryland Given att our Town of Anne Arrundell

       Thomas Brook of Calvert County Esq.r sendeth Greeting
       Know Ye y.t whereas S.r Thomas Lawrence
       Baronet &.c Secretary of this Province hath by his
       Comission bearing date y.e               day of
       last constituted ordained deputed & appointed Me to be Deputy
       Secretary of this Province with all such Powers as are or may be
       requisit to Officiate y.e s.d place  And Whereas y.e s.d S.r Thomas
       had likewise constituted John Freeman by his Comission
       bearing date y.e first day of Octob.r last to be Register in y.e
       high Court of Chancery in this Province; with such Powers
       as may be requisit to officeiate in y.e same; in as full & ample
       Manner as any Regist.r in Chancery hath been heretofore Comissionated;
       And Whereas y.e s.d John Freeman's s.d Comission from y.e
       s.d S.r Thomas, hath been casually burnt at y.e late Chancell.rs house
       at y.e City of S.t Maries  And Forasmuch as y.e s.d John Freeman
       therefore doth for his security in acting in y.e s.d Office required
       y.t I should, by virtue of my Deputation from y.e s.d S.r Thomas
       empower him to act in y.e s.d Office of Regist.r I do therefore
       hereby in as large & ample Manner as I may constitute
