       frivolous and against Law and Equity but on the contrary
       the Deed appears to be bona fide made upon a valueable
       consideracon nor is the plt a Man of that ignorance he
       pretends but cunning and crafty in his affairs  And with the
       generall traverse they concluded their answer  To w.ch answer
       the Complts replyed generally and the matter being at issue
       divers witnesses were examined in the said cause and their
       Deposicons duely published according to the accustomed Rules
       of this Course as by the said Bill Answer Replicacon Examinacon
       of witnesses and other proceedings in the said Cause remaining
       of Record in the Secretaryes Office of this province relacon
       being thereunto had may more at large appear  And this
       Cause standing in the Docquet ready for a hearing this
       p.rsent day being the                        day of               in
       the yeare of our Lord One Thousand Six hundred Ninety
       and three was appointed for the hearing thereof  Upon
       hearing and debateing the matter in question betweene
       the said parties in the presence of the Attorneys on both sides
       and upon reading the said Complts bill and the Defendants
       Answer plea and Demurrer and the Deposicons taken by
       Comission in this Cause and alsoe upon the hearing of
       severall Evidences sworne and examined viva voce in Courte
       by and with the consent of both parties and their Attorneys
       aforesaid and upon hearing of what could be insisted on
       by the parties on both sides and hearing of the Evidence
       of one Damaras Serjeant taken viva voce in Courte the
       she heard the said John Ocane say That upon the marriage of
       the said Henry Brayne with the said Comp.lt Jane he has
       given all his land called Canes purchase and Bueplaines to
       the said Henry Brayne and his Daughter Jane and their
       heirs and it appearing by the said Memorand.m now in Court
       produced under the hand and seale of the said John Ocane
       upon the said Jane her second marriage with the Comp.lt
       Edward Saunders he did (soe far as he could respect being
       had to the former Guift to Braynes and wife) settle a Moiety
       of all his Lands and psonall estate in Franck marriage
       appeared by the Evidence of M.r George Brent examined
       a witness in this Cause upon the said Complts and their heirs
       forever  And then afterwards the said John Ocane put the
       said Complts in possession of the North pte of Canes purchase
       and that one WIlliam Wells being their Tenant thereof
       by the order of the said John Ocane attorne Tenant
       payd his Rent to the said Complts for the same and that the
       other part on the South end of the said Canes purchase
       and the pcell of Land called Jericho was afterward
       for good and valueable Consideracons as paying of
       the said John Ocanes Debts and maintayning him due
